Certification and Public-Sector Record
CORE is a certified WBE (Woman-Owned Business Enterprise) environmental consulting and engineering firm, operating from offices in Queens and Buffalo — one serving New York City, the other Western New York. For projects with public funding or agency participation, WBE certification is often a scored procurement requirement rather than a nicety, so it can decide whether a firm is eligible for the work at all.
The firm has worked for the New York Power Authority since at least 2013, when it carried out a Phase II environmental site investigation and subsequent remediation in Lewiston, New York. NYPA awarded further work in 2014 covering asbestos and lead surveys, design, abatement monitoring and reporting across multiple sites. Repeat award from a state authority is a harder credential to obtain than most marketing claims.

Beyond commercial transactions, CORE works across transport infrastructure — rail facilities, airports, roadways and transit hubs — and with school districts, universities and institutional facility managers. Both are settings where environmental findings collide with occupied buildings and fixed academic or operating calendars, which is a different problem from a vacant-parcel Phase 1.
Co-founder Ron Tramposch brings more than 35 years in remedial investigations, feasibility studies, underground storage tank management and remedial system design; staff credentials include NYSDOL Asbestos Supervisor/Inspector and NYCDEP Asbestos Investigator, which are the specific licences NYC asbestos work requires.
